The husband of a\u00a0missing Oakland coffee shop owner<\/a> released a new video Wednesday, urging the public to help find his wife, who has been missing for over two weeks.<\/p>\n

Chris Hillyard urged the community to continue searching for his wife, Farley’s coffee shop co-owner Amy Hillyard, 52, in a video posted April 9 on a website<\/a> dedicated to her search.<\/p>\n

“Amy’s superpower is to bring out the best in people,” he said. “… Now we need those powers to bring her home.”<\/p>\n

She was last seen around 2 p.m. on March 25 leaving her home on the 500 block of\u00a0Radnor Road in Oakland’s Cleveland Heights neighborhood, according to the Oakland Police Department<\/a>. Her disappearance has prompted a large-scale search involving more than 400 volunteers, along with the Oakland\u00a0Police Department and Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities believe she left on foot and consider her at risk due to a medical condition.<\/p>\n

“At times, the pain of not having her here by my side is unbearable,” Chris said, adding that the support of volunteers has given him “hope and the strength to continue.”<\/p>\n

Search teams have canvassed areas, including Skyline Gate in the Oakland hills, a place loved ones say she frequently visited, but those efforts have not produced new leads.<\/p>\n

Volunteers have also reviewed surveillance footage, including from BART stations, while investigators continue to follow up on tips and conduct additional video canvassing in surrounding neighborhoods.<\/p>\n

Amy Hillyard is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, about 120 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white short-sleeve shirt, light jeans and white sneakers with black stripes.<\/p>\n
