With just two weeks until the Friends\u2019 54th Annual Spring Book Fair, excitement is building for one of Coronado\u2019s most beloved community traditions. Hosted by the Friends of the Coronado Public Library (Friends), this family-friendly event returns on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., outside the Coronado Public Library.<\/p>\n
Book lovers, families, and neighbors alike are invited to browse thousands of books at exceptional prices, from bestsellers and hidden gems to children\u2019s favorites and timeless classics. Visitors can also discover even more titles at the Honor Shop inside the Library\u2019s Lobby and the Friends Bookstore, along with popular pre-loved books and ready-to-give gift items\u2014perfect for any occasion.<\/p>\n
The fun doesn\u2019t stop at books. The Family Corner will be buzzing with free face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon art, and refreshments, creating a festive atmosphere for all ages and making it a true community celebration.<\/p>\n
Every purchase makes a difference. All proceeds from the Book Fair directly support programs and resources at the Coronado Public Library. The Friends of the Coronado Public Library are dedicated supporters who offer financial assistance for a variety of the Library\u2019s programs that serve readers and learners of all ages.<\/p>\n
Founded in 1970, the Friends of the Coronado Public Library continues to play a vital role in enriching the cultural and educational life of Coronado.<\/p>\n
