The Caldecott Tunnel reopened all eastbound lanes that were closed Thursday afternoon after a car crash and fire caused traffic delays during rush hour.\u00a0<\/p>\n
At least two vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened just after 1:30 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol\u00a0Sgt. Andrew Barkley. <\/p>\n
The crash caused a fire, but it\u2019s unclear if anyone was hurt. The Oakland Fire Department responded to the scene and was continuing\u00a0work on the incident,\u00a0Barkley said. <\/p>\n
Officials said Bore 3 \u00a0reopened at about 2:30 p.m. and Bore 2 around 3:30 p.m. The closure caused major traffic going into the Lamorinda area, Barkley said.
