Terrill | AP)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Phoenix area remains significantly more affordable than Los Angeles, where home prices are often hundreds of thousands of dollars higher. That price gap has been a major reason people \u2014 and companies \u2014 continue to leave California for Arizona.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">KB Home says Arizona\u2019s business-friendly environment also played a role in the decision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Even with the move, the company says it isn\u2019t leaving California behind.
