According to CNN, the other allegations included claims of unwanted touching, intoxicated encounters, and unsolicited explicit messages or nude photos.Swalwell denied the allegations in a statement to the San Francisco Chronicle, calling them false and politically motivated.\u201cThese allegations are false and come on the eve of an election against the frontrunner for governor,\u201d he wrote in a statement to the Chronicle. \u201cFor nearly 20 years, I have served the public \u2014 as a prosecutor and a congressman \u2014 and have always protected women. I will defend myself with the facts and, where necessary, bring legal action.
