Car lovers and families looking for something to do this weekend can head to Caliber Collision for its fourth annual car show, featuring everything from hot rods and low riders to imports and exotics \u2014 all while supporting community causes.<\/p>\n
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. tomorrow at Caliber Collision. Organizers said attendees can expect \u201cgorgeous vehicles,\u201d along with food, jumpers and music.<\/p>\n
Josh Sontoya, one of the organizers, said the car show is designed as a family-friendly event that also gives back. \u201cIt\u2019s a good cost for kids that depend on the free meals during the school year that can\u2019t get it over the summer,\u201d he said, adding that the event is meant to help provide for those children.<\/p>\n
Organizers also said they are supporting a \u201crecycled rides\u201d effort and plan to give away a vehicle to a veteran. Josh said the recipient knows the vehicle will be a Jeep but does not know what it looks like.<\/p>\n
Juan Torres, who helps put on the show each year, said the lineup will include \u201call sorts of type of cars,\u201d including \u201chot rods, low riders, imports, exotic.\u201d<\/p>\n
Josh said the show began during COVID as a way to bring people back together. \u201cWe really wanted to get the community back out,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re not profiting off for everybody that comes out. It\u2019s all volunteer.
