Los Angeles-based KB Home (NYSE: KBH) is moving its corporate headquarters back to metro Phoenix.<\/p>\n

Plans call for moving to Hayden Ferry Lakeside in Tempe by next spring 2027. The company had called Phoenix home in the early 1960s before moving to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

This move is fundamentally about improving KB\u2019s cost structure and operating efficiency over time, said Rob McGibney, president and CEO of KB Home.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Phoenix metro area offers a lower cost of doing business, and consolidating our corporate teams into a single location allows us to operate more efficiently,\u201d McGibney told Phoenix Business Journal. \u201cAt the same time, bringing our teams together in one location strengthens coordination and speeds up decision making, which is increasingly important as we position the company for its next phase of growth.\u201d<\/p>\n
