The chain shop is known to be a go-to for buying gifts, like chocolate covered strawberries or fruits on a stick, arranged like a bouquet.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/edible-arrangements-berkeley\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Edible Arrangements<\/a>, 3079 Telegraph Ave., Berkeley\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La Noisette Sweets<\/p>\n<p>03.13.26: The West Berkeley French patisserie\u2019s last day of operation was April 1. Owner Alain Shocron shared an Instagram story with the news and wrote, \u201cThank you for the memories, the laughter, and all the sweetness we\u2019ve shared. We\u2019re not crying\u2013it\u2019s just powdered sugar in our eye.\u201d La Noisette bakery operated in the Berkeley Kitchens space for about 10 years, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.berkeleyside.org\/2019\/04\/18\/the-berkeley-kitchens-an-epicenter-for-some-of-the-east-bays-best-food-makers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told NOSH<\/a>\u00a0in 2019 that while the bakery is mostly French-style, influences include Italian, Moroccan, Spanish, and Canadian. The\u00a0Chronicle\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/food\/restaurants\/article\/milk-cloud-bakery-shokupan-berkeley-21955425.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reports<\/a>\u00a0that Milk Cloud Bakery, a pop-up that makes Japanese milk bread, will be opening in the space in April.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lanoisettesweets\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">La Noisette Sweets<\/a>, 2701 Eighth St., Berkeley<\/p>\n<p>Las Delicias Salvadoran<\/p>\n<p>03.26.26: The Salvadoran and Mexican restaurant in downtown Berkeley has closed. The restaurant served an array of dishes, from breakfast to seafood platters, and pupusas. The family-run restaurant opened during the pandemic and was one of the few Salvadoran restaurants in the area.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/las-delicias-salvadoran-berkeley?osq=las+delicias+salvadoran\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Las Delicias Salvadoran,<\/a>\u00a02037 Kala Bagai Way, Berkeley\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>L&amp;L Hawaiian Barbecue<\/p>\n<p>03.20.26: The Berkeley L&amp;L has closed, according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/l-and-l-hawaiian-barbecue-berkeley\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yelpers<\/a>,\u00a0and it is no longer listed on the company\u2019s website. The Honolulu-based chain, which first opened in 1952, serves plate lunches like chicken katsu, kalua pork with cabbage, and snacks like Spam musubis.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaiianbarbecue.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">L&amp;L Hawaiian Barbecue<\/a>, 2475 Telegraph Ave., Berkeley<\/p>\n<p>Emeryville restaurant closure<\/p>\n<p>Juice House Co. <\/p>\n<p>03.26.26: One of the Bay Area\u2019s juice and smoothie companies is closed all of its stores on April 4. The shop sells organic, cold-pressed juices, cold brews, nut milks, and kombucha in glass bottles. \u201cFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of JUICE HOUSE CO. over the years. this community has meant so much to us. we hope to see you in before we close,\u201d the owner shared on Instagram. As part of a final farewell, the company released a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stan.store\/kealanikoakai\/p\/get-my-juice-house-co--home-ebook-now\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">downloadable e-recipe book<\/a>\u00a0for $19 with recipes for all of their juices.
