More than 28,000 customers are impacted by widespread outages. SMUD has not listed a cause for the outages, but they are marked on the website as “unplanned”. The Arden and Florin areas are most heavily effected areas as of 7:30 p.m., combining for more than 17,000 customers without power.Restoration times for the different outages vary depending on location.
