TAKE A LOOK AT THIS TREE HERE OVER A 20 FOOT TREE JUST TOPPLING OVER. DUE TO THESE STRONG WINDS. YOU CAN SEE THE LIMBS HERE AND THE WHOLE BRANCH ITSELF JUST FALLING OVER ONTO THEIR FAMILY POOL. I DON\u2019T KNOW HOW THIS ORANGEVILLE FAMILY WILL GET THIS OUT HERE, BUT IT\u2019S JUST A TESTAMENT TO THE AMOUNT OF STRONG WINDS WE\u2019VE SEEN ACROSS OUR REGION. AND THE RAIN. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ACROSS THE SACRAMENTO REGION ARE WITHOUT POWER TONIGHT, AS STRONG WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN MOVE THROUGH, LEAVING SMUD CREWS WORKING QUICKLY TO RESTORE SERVICE. AT ONE POINT, NEARLY 30,000 CUSTOMERS WERE LEFT IN THE DARK, AND THIS STORM IS PACKING A PUNCH. LIKE I SAID, TAKE A LOOK AT THAT TREE CRASHING INTO THIS ORANGEVILLE FAMILY\u2019S BACKYARD POOL. THEY SAY THEY\u2019VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS AT THE. AS THOSE POWERFUL WINDS CONTINUE TO CAUSE DAMAGE ACROSS THE REGION, COUNTLESS SUMMERS WE SPENT OUT HERE SWIMMING, LOOKING AT THE TREES. SO. IT\u2019S SO CRAZY TO SEE IT JUST FELL OUT. FELL OUT LIKE THAT FROM THE WEATHER. THIS IS PROBABLY THE CRAZIEST STORM I\u2019VE EVER SEEN AND I\u2019VE LIVED HERE MY ENTIRE LIFE, SO I\u2019VE. THIS IS LIKE THE CRAZIEST STORM EVER FOR SURE. THE VISIBILITY WAS HORRIBLE. THE OTHER DRIVERS WERE CRAZY. I FELT LIKE EVERYBODY WAS GOING TEN TIMES FASTER THAN ME. I WAS SCARED OUT THERE. BUT YOU KNOW, WE MADE IT BACK SAFE. SO I\u2019M THANKFUL FOR THAT FOR SURE. BACK OUTSIDE HERE. YEAH. JUST LOOK AT THE TESTAMENT OF HOW STRONG THESE WINDS ARE. AND I COULD AGREE WITH ANDREW THAT THE LOW VISIBILITY DUE TO THIS PENETRATING RAIN WAS REALLY APPARENT, EVEN FOR THE MOST EXPERIENCED DRIVERS. WHEN WE WERE TRAVELING UP TO THE SIERRA, THE VISIBILITY WAS QUITE LOW AND EACH MINUTE JUST FLASHES OF LIGHTNING. SMUD HAS SAID THAT THEY\u2019VE ALREADY RESTORED AT LEAST 20,000 CUSTOMERS WITH POWER, BUT JUST THE SEVERITY OF THESE STORMS, IF PEOPLE COULD AVOID TRAVELING, IT\u2019S BEST TO DO THAT RIGHT NOW AS THESE STRONG WIND GUSTS AND RAIN CONTINUE TO PENETRAT\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
