Oakland got a good showing from Christian McCrary<\/a>, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. McCrary has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn’t given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.<\/p>\n

On the hitting side, Oakland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Banks Baron<\/a>, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Sevion Campbell<\/a> also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.<\/p>\n

Oakland’s record now sits at 7-17. As for Wilson Central, they are on a roll lately: they’ve won five of their last six contests. That’s provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.<\/p>\n

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakland will host Riverdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilson Central, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Rockvale at 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
