Fresno-based company Tempest has completed a custom Mobile Ventilation Unit (MVU) that\u2019s now at the Kansas City Fire Department. <\/p>\n

The specialized truck is designed to help clear smoke more quickly during emergencies, improving visibility and safety for firefighters.<\/p>\n
The vehicle features a powerful mounted fan that\u2019s considered record-breaking in its class.<\/p>\n
Tempest designs and manufactures firefighter safety equipment in Fresno, and its technology has already been used locally during the Producers Dairy silo demolition and for smoke clearing at Northpointe Church.<\/p>\n
