FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 One person and a dog were displaced after a fire at a duplex apartment complex Tuesday morning in southwest Fresno.<\/p>\n

The fire was on Effie Street, near Belmont Avenue and Abby Street.<\/p>\n
The Fresno Fire Department says firefighters were called out around 6:45 a.m. for the fire.<\/p>\n
When they arrived, they found the second story fully engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n
Firefighters searched the inside and put out the flames. <\/p>\n
No injuries were reported, but one persona and one dog were displaced due to water damage.<\/p>\n
Nobody was found inside the top story, but firefighters still don’t know if it was vacant or not due to plywood being found.<\/p>\n
