[Ed. note: The station is currently using the classic Kelly 95.3 logo while an updated logo and website are in process]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Originally launched in the mid-\u201980s, KLLY built longstanding brand equity in Bakersfield under the \u201cKelly 95.3\u201d identity, evolving across multiple successful formats \u2014 from Soft Rock to Hot AC to Top 40 \u2014 while maintaining strong listener familiarity with its call letters. In 2015, former owner Alpha Media moved away from the \u201cKelly\u201d branding, rebranding as Energy 95.3, and most recently, Live 95.3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"281\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Danny-Kait-Hill.jpg\" data- class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-62348 lazyload\"\/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-62348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Danny-Kait-Hill.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"281\"  \/>\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly proud to bring Kelly back home,\u201d said Kait Hill (left), CEO of Frequency Broadcasting. \u201cThis is a brand that already has deep roots in Bakersfield.
