Santa Barbara residents hoping to get out of town will have even more options in the next few months.<\/p>\n
The Santa Barbara Airport<\/a> (SBA) announced that Alaska Airlines<\/a> will be offering two non-stop daily flights to San Diego beginning April 22, 2026.<\/p>\n Alaska Airlines previously offered flights to San Diego in 2020 but ended the route. <\/p>\n Tickets to San Diego with Alaska Airlines can start at $157 and go as high as $297 for first-class seats, according to the airline\u2019s website.<\/p>\n The San Diego flights will bring the number of nonstop destinations<\/a> to 14 for SBA, with a total of 26 daily flights.<\/p>\n The airline also announced that Alaska Airlines will be adding another trip to Portland, raising the number of trips to two a day.<\/p>\n The announcement comes right after the airport announced that United Airlines<\/a> would be offering daily non-stop flights to Chicago<\/a> beginning on April 6, 2026. United previously offered the route as seasonal service during the summers of 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n The cost of a nonstop round-trip flight between Santa Barbara Airport and Chicago in April can vary between $537 and $1,649, according to United\u2019s website.
