A former San Jose State football player and Berkeley resident has gone missing, and his family hasn\u2019t seen him in 10 days.<\/p>\n
A statement and flyer from The Aware Foundation said that 28-year-old Hadari Darden, 28, hasn\u2019t been seen since about 1:15 a.m. on April 5 at the Skyline Shopping Center in Daly City. The AWARE Foundation is a national non-profit organization that assists families with missing loved ones.<\/p>\n
Darden played linebacker with the Spartans from 2018 to 2021 after previously attending Contra Costa College and Moreau Catholic High in Hayward.<\/p>\n
According to the statement, a security guard saw Darden walking in the area of the mall. He was wearing green joggers and a black hoodie and was carrying an army-colored backpack.<\/p>\n
His family last saw him on April 4 in Berkeley. Family in social media posts said he had exhibited some strange behavior in the weeks leading up to his disappearance.<\/p>\n
Daly City police are investigating his disappearance.<\/p>\n
The AWARE Foundation said Darden\u2019s mother has concerns for his well-being because he was spotted at a location far from public transportation and does not have his own vehicle.\n<\/p>\n
