The goal was to become more in harmony with the natural surroundings, he said.

“This year’s tour will also help visitors experience creative ideas for incorporating various landscape materials and designs with native and non-native plants to become more waterwise while maintaining the vision of a beautiful garden,” Holton said.

As visitors explore the various gardens they will notice extensive walking pathways that several owners have incorporated over the years.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class=" lazyautosizes lazyload" alt="Walking pathways are incorporated into some of the gardens presented in the Spring Garden Tour.
