With more starts than any other INDYCAR driver on the Streets of Long Beach, Will Power returns to the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach this weekend for his 20th appearance at the historic California circuit.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Power made his debut on the\u00a0track\u00a0in 2006 before capturing his first win there in 2008 and returning to Victory Lane again in 2012. He also recorded three straight poles from 2010\u20132012,\u00a0seven\u00a0podiums, 16\u00a0top-10\u00a0finishes and\u00a0has\u00a0led 187 laps.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Australian driver gained positions throughout last year\u2019s race and ran just outside the top 10 after the opening pit cycle.\u00a0A front wing adjustment on his second pit stop of the day\u00a0helped Power move up the field and take the\u00a0checkered\u00a0in sixth.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Kyle Kirkwood<\/p>\n
Defending\u00a0Acura\u00a0Grand Prix of Long Beach race winner\u00a0Kyle Kirkwood\u00a0is set to make his fifth start on the street circuit. The current INDYCAR Championship leader returns to Long Beach with momentum after his win on the Streets of Arlington.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Florida native has a\u00a0strong history\u00a0on the Streets of Long Beach with two pole positions, two wins, four\u00a0top-10\u00a0finishes and 100 laps led.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Starting from pole position\u00a0during\u00a0last year\u2019s race, Kirkwood went on to lead\u00a046\u00a0of the\u00a090\u00a0laps\u00a0to\u00a0ultimately capture\u00a0his\u00a0third\u00a0INDYCAR victory\u00a0at the time.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

After rolling off\u00a0fifth in 2025, Ericsson made an early pit stop and rejoined\u00a0the field\u00a0inside the top 10. Unfortunately, traffic kept the Swede from regaining track positions, and he took the checkered in 12th.\u00a0<\/p>\n
