The advisory is in effect from 3:39-8:00 p.m. as the area is expected to experience about two inches of rain.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The National Weather Service advised the public to avoid driving on flooded roads and to \u201cbe aware of your surroundings,\u201d according to the advisory.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The city of Berkeley\u2019s 311 customer service number for reporting flooding is closed due to the observance of Indigenous Peoples Day.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Nearby areas including Albany, Walnut Creek, Oakland and central Contra Costa will also be affected.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Intramural sports on campus, with the exception of pickleball, are set to continue as scheduled, according to an email from Intramural Sports staff.
