Kevin Sorbo is taking aim at the Democratic Party, saying his move\u00a0out of California\u00a0wasn\u2019t just a relocation.<\/p>\n

It was an escape.<\/p>\n

The former \u201cHercules: The Legendary Journeys\u201d star doubled down on his move to Florida<\/a> as he described what he believes are issues with declining leadership and cultural shifts on the West Coast.<\/p>\n

Speaking candidly during an appearance with\u00a0Sky News Australia<\/a>, a host asked what Sorbo thought about the Democratic governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe guy\u2019s a complete clown. Complete clown \u2026 No matter how much we point out to people how bad it\u2019s getting in this country in terms of how they\u2019re voting, what they\u2019re doing \u2026 it\u2019s weird to me. It\u2019s weird to see what\u2019s shaping up here and what\u2019s going on,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n

Kevin Sorbo said his move from California to Florida was an escape from declining leadership and cultural shifts. Sky News Australia<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I do feel a shift. I mean, when I moved, I escaped California seven years ago and live in the free state of Florida here. I went from the worst governor, from Gavin Newsom, to the best governor,\u00a0Ron DeSantis,\u201d Sorbo said during a fiery rant.<\/p>\n

The 67-year-old actor, who rose to global fame as the sword-swinging demigod Hercules in the\u00a01990s hit series, has increasingly leaned into politics and has never held back.<\/p>\n

When asked about California Gov. Gavin Newsom\u2019s potential presidential run in 2028<\/a>, Sorbo candidly shared what he believes has happened to the Golden State.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve had negative, negative growth in that state for the last 10 years. More people have moved out than have moved in \u2026 I got so many friends who have left that state, including myself, to\u00a0go to Texas, go to Tennessee or Florida.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are the states that people are moving to. What\u2019s interesting is all the top five blue states that people have moved out, they\u2019re the top five blue states that have lost more people. All those people have moved to red states,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Sorbo has been outspoken about his political views.<\/p>\n

Sorbo called Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis \u201cthe best governor.\u201d AP<\/p>\n

He\u2019s long claimed he was sidelined in Hollywood for his conservative and Christian beliefs<\/a>, well before \u201ccancel culture\u201d became a household phrase.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I\u2019m the first cancel culture victim before I knew it was a term. Hollywood booted me up a dozen years ago for things I was posting on the internet. And I looked at my age and I said, \u2018Oh, you guys are upset that I\u2019m posting the truth? Is that a problem with you guys?\u2019 \u00a0Sorbo previously told Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause they hate the truth, and they hate anybody who\u2019s a Christian in Hollywood, anybody who is a conservative. So, I\u2019m like a double leper to them.
