They enter the final weekend tied for sixth with Montana State at three wins each, but the Bobcats hold the tiebreaker. The Vikings need a win Saturday\u2014and help from an Idaho or Montana State loss\u2014to secure a postseason spot.<\/p>\n<p>PSU is coming off a 1-1 weekend on the road, opening with a 4-3 win over Weber State on Friday, before a 5-2 loss to Idaho State on Sunday. The win over the Wildcats marked the program&#8217;s first-ever road victory in the series, with the Vikings taking the doubles point and adding singles wins from <a href=\"https:\/\/goviks.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/scarlett-perkins\/6107\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6107\" target=\"_blank\">Scarlett Perkins<\/a> (No. 1), <a href=\"https:\/\/goviks.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/kasumi-hirayama\/6381\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6381\" target=\"_blank\">Kasumi Hirayama<\/a> (No. 5) and <a href=\"https:\/\/goviks.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/hana-abdelhamid\/6109\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6109\" target=\"_blank\">Hana Abdelhamid<\/a>, who clinched at No. 4.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/goviks.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/marta-giglio\/6668\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6668\" target=\"_blank\">Marta Giglio<\/a> leads the Vikings with double-digit wins in singles (10-4) and doubles (10-3). Hirayama follows with nine singles wins and a 4-3 Big Sky mark, riding a three-match streak at No. 5. Giglio and Abdelhamid pace the Vikings in doubles at 8-2, including a 7-2 mark at No. 1. Hirayama and <a href=\"https:\/\/goviks.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/nene-uemura\/6145\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6145\" target=\"_blank\">Nene Uemura<\/a> enter the weekend playing well, winning two of their last three matches at line two.<\/p>\n<p>Portland State has defeated Sacramento State just three times in program history, with all three wins coming at home over the last decade.
