Following its Mobil 1 livery at the 12 Hours of Sebring, Porsche Penske Motorsport has revealed another one-off scheme for this weekend\u2019s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.<\/p>\n

Both factory Porsche 963s will run in an Apple Music livery, as the team looks to defend its victory at the California street circuit from 12 months ago.<\/p>\n

The livery features a white base design, with red and black detailing, and celebrates Porsche\u2019s partnership with Apple Music, which is entering its eighth year.<\/p>\n

Following victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring, Porsche Penske once again heads to Long Beach as the team to beat, with the German marque heading all of IMSA\u2019s GTP championships after the early-season Florida endurance races.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are extremely proud of our collaboration with Apple Music,\u201d said Thomas Laudenbach, vice-president of Porsche Motorsport.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe livery on our two Porsche 963 cars looks fantastic. After our successful Mobil 1-themed appearance at Sebring, this is another highlight as we celebrate 75 years of Porsche Motorsport. I\u2019m very excited to see how fans respond to this design.\u201d<\/p>\n

Notably, this is not a tribute to the Apple-branded Porsche 935 which competed at the 1980 24 Hours of Le Mans, but is instead a one-off special for a current partner.<\/p>\n

This design could potentially form part of a run of three consecutive special liveries from Porsche Penske Motorsport, with IMSA\u2019s inaugural throwback weekend at Laguna Seca the next stop on the WeatherTech Sportscar Championship schedule.<\/p>\n

The 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will be held on 17th to 18th April 2026.<\/p>\n
