The singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, had not been seen for months prior to his arrest Thursday afternoon<\/a>. He emerged wearing grey sweatpants and a black hoodie and seemed expressionless.<\/p>\n

A neighbor told The Post she witnessed \u201cso many cops\u201d on the street just before the singer was taken into custody. One officer was on a loudspeaker outside the home shouting \u201cSurrender!\u201d according to the neighbor.<\/p>\n

Authorities swarmed the Hollywood Hills home where the singer was staying to make the arrest.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the latest on the death of the teen girl found in rapper D4vd\u2019s Tesla<\/p>\n

\u201cWe came to the home with a probably cause arrest warrant for him,\u201d LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division Commanding Officer Captain Scot M. Williams confirmed to The California Post on the scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did the best we can to keep tabs on him, but once we developed probable cause to arrest him for murder, then we were on him pretty diligently,\u201d Captain Williams said.<\/p>\n

The LAPD confirmed to The Post that Burke was arrested for the murder of Celeste Rivas. The dismembered body of the 14-year-old was discovered in the back of a Tesla belonging to D4vd back in September after employees in a tow yard could smell a foul odor coming from the vehicle.<\/p>\n

\u201cDetectives from Los Angeles Police Department, Robbery-Homicide Division have arrested David Burke, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, for the murder of Celeste Rivas. Burke is being held without bail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney\u2019s office on Monday for filing consideration,\u201d an LAPD release said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur office is aware of the arrest of David Anthony Burke by the Los Angeles Police Department. The case is expected to be presented to the Major Crimes Division, at which point prosecutors will review the facts and evidence to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to file charges, a release from the Los Angeles District Attorney\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this time, additional information is not available. We will share an update on Monday once a filing decision has been made,\u201d the release continued.<\/p>\n
