Tory Lanez is putting a price on his suffering \u2014 at $1 million per stab wound \u2014 in a new bombshell lawsuit filed against the California Department of Corrections.<\/p>\n
The musician, now locked up at California Men\u2019s Colony in San Luis Obispo for shooting Megan Thee Stallion<\/a>, claims prison officials failed to protect him when he was stabbed 16 times<\/a> by inmate Santino Casio using a homemade shank in May 2025 at CCI Tehachapi.<\/p>\n Lanez was left fighting for his life after he was stabbed 16 times by a shank behind bars. Casio is currently serving a life sentence<\/a> for second-degree murder, and attempted first-degree murder, for the killing of his 13-year-old pregnant runaway \u201cgirlfriend\u201d while he was on parole,\u201d the documents read.<\/p>\n Lanez believes he was a target given his celebrity status, and claims guards were not immediately present when the attack first happened, according to the lawsuit.<\/p>\n Megan Thee Stallion accused Lanez of shooting her in the foot after a fight in 2020. There has not yet been a finding of liability.<\/p>\n Lanez is currently serving a 10 year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation<\/p>\n Lanez\u2019s family remained his biggest supporters during his court case.
