Police are searching for a possibly armed suspect in Culver City on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
At around 3:15 p.m., the Culver City Police Department received a call about a man who claimed he was about to start shooting at the Westfield Culver City mall. When officers arrived, they found a person who matched the suspect description.<\/p>\n
The suspect, described only as a man in his 30s, left on foot, police said.<\/p>\n
Police asked the public to avoid the area of Slauson and Hannum avenues, near the 90 Freeway, due to police activity, which concluded just before 5:30 p.m. The suspect remains at large, officials said.<\/p>\n
No injuries have been reported, according to the police department.<\/p>\n
