It’s the hottest, most festive food service on four wheels this October.<\/p>\n
Wrapped in distinct Dodger Blue, a vintage Volkswagen bug is zipping around L.A., parking for post-season pop-ups, and serving up hot, freshly fried, cinnamon sugar-rolled churros, right out of the back seat fry station.<\/p>\n
SEE ALSO: Millennials are spending more on Dodgers gear than any other generation, report shows<\/a><\/p>\n According to a new report, millennials are spending more than every other generation at more than $2,000 each year.<\/p>\n Churros El Bochito offers delicious churros, but the magic of the family-owned, Dodgers-themed dessert mobile is in the nostalgic collaboration of its creator’s favorite things.<\/p>\n “Ever since he was a kid, he grew up with a Volkswagen Beetle, and growing up, his idol was Fernando Valensuela, and his favorite colors are blue and white, and the Dodgers are his favorite team,” said Carlos Pavon, translating for his father, Briant Pavon.<\/p>\n That’s why each Beetle is adorned with the number 34 and a print of Pavon’s favorite Dodger.<\/p>\n “And they all have a portrait, somehow, of Fernando Valesuela,” Carlos Pavon said. “This one, specifically, has him throwing the final pitch when they won the World Series.”<\/p>\n By present Dodgers standards, you could call Carlos Pavon the Shohei Ohtani of churros.<\/p>\n
