He has a bachelor\u2019s degree from Northwestern University and is also an alum of the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He lives in Black Mountain Ranch.<\/p>\n<p>Econometer asks seven business leaders and seven economists\/academics a different question every week about various topics affecting the local economy. It has run weekly since 2010 in the Sunday print edition of the Business section and can also be found online.<\/p>\n<p>The column is sometimes cited by local policymakers in decision making and used in <a href=\"https:\/\/nerde.anl.gov\/api\/media\/3b99e4f8-746d-4cb3-84c0-046e5f6eb207.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">research papers<\/a>.
