Once completed, there will be four murals, one on each side of The Torrey\u2019s new high-rise. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollandresidential.com\/ca\/san-diego\/the-torrey\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Torrey<\/a> is located at 1200 Front Street, where the north part of the old downtown courthouse used to stand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This morning during my walk I noticed two artists working on the east side mural. I\u2019d stumbled upon Australian husband-and-wife visual artists who go by the name DABSMYLA. They\u2019re out of Los Angeles. Here\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dabsmyla.com\/about\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">their website<\/a>. That\u2019s them in the above photograph!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two murals are finished, they\u2019re now working on the third, and I was told a fourth will be painted on the south side of the building, once the old courthouse bridge over B Street is demolished.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Super cool!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These first photos show the mural they\u2019re working on presently, on the building\u2019s east side. All of their artwork is full of bold imagery from nature, including San Diego\u2019s beautiful coast.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/img_2338.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-112883\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/img_2360.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-112885\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the north side\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/img_3169.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-112886\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And on the west side (where there\u2019s some new, interesting stump art on the sidewalk which I\u2019ll blog about)\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/img_3308.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-112888\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/img_3321.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-112890\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To follow my blog, find the \u201cFollow\u201d box in this website\u2019s sidebar.
