{"id":279961,"date":"2026-04-22T08:27:11","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T08:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/279961\/"},"modified":"2026-04-22T08:27:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T08:27:11","slug":"six-flags-names-10-new-park-presidents-orange-county-register","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/279961\/","title":{"rendered":"Six Flags names 10 new park presidents \u2013 Orange County Register"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Six Flags game of musical chairs will leave many former park presidents sitting in the same seat they had before along with a few of familiar faces moving to new locations after the amusement park chain eliminated the roles last year in a cost-cutting move.<\/p>\n<p>Six Flags announced on Wednesday, April 22 the names of the park presidents who will be reintroduced in 10 key markets \u2014 including Knott\u2019s Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese changes are about putting leadership, expertise and accountability as close to our guests and team members as possible,\u201d Six Flags CEO John Reilly said in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019re empowering our teams to move faster, innovate locally and deliver exceptional experiences every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ALSO SEE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2026\/04\/16\/six-flags-reverses-course-and-brings-back-park-presidents\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Six Flags reverses course and brings back park presidents<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Six Flags eliminated park president positions at all 27 amusement parks in the chain in May 2025 and moved to a geographic operating model with senior vice presidents overseeing four regions: Northeast, West, Midwest and Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The strategic shift sought to centralize certain functions and responsibilities at the corporate level following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2023\/11\/02\/what-cedar-fair-six-flags-8-billion-merger-means-for-knotts-and-magic-mountain\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$8 billion merger<\/a> that combined Six Flags and Cedar Fair into a North American amusement park juggernaut.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the 10 new Six Flags park presidents:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Knott's Berry Farm park president Raffi Kaprelyan.
