Nearly half a\u00a0century later, his vision can be seen in full in\u00a0Hal Fischer: Seminal Works<\/a> (Aperture). The book chronicles Fischer\u2019s brief, but glorious, photography career, bringing together early works and major series made between 1977 and 1984, while crafting an indelible portrait of San Francisco at the height of Gay Liberation.
