Public spaces have been adapted to create a streamlined flow throughout the property while the renovated lobby will include extended retail space and additional communal seating.<\/p>\n
Guests will find 191 renovated rooms and suites, furnished and outfitted by Dyelot Interiors. They will incorporate updated bathroom facilities such as walk-in showers and upgraded mirrors.<\/p>\n
The renovation adds eight one-bedroom suites, resulting in a total of ten suites.<\/p>\n
This property will also implement new partnerships and social event programming intended for both visitors and local residents.<\/p>\n
The Maya general manager Greg Guthrie said: \u201cFrom refreshed guest rooms to a completely reimagined lobby and signature lounge, Fuego, this renovation will bring new energy to the property while preserving the warmth and character our guests have always loved.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Maya owner Kam Babaoff said: \u201cThis next chapter represents more than just a design transformation; it\u2019s a continued investment in the growth of Long Beach\u2019s tourism landscape and a reaffirmation of our commitment to creating spaces that celebrate community, culture, and connection.\u201d<\/p>\n
Opened in 1975 originally as the Queensbay Hilton, the property has seen multiple renovations, including a $20m update in 2009 and a $4m refurbishment in 2015.<\/p>\n
