2026 All-Big West Men’s Volleyball Team (.pdf)<\/a><\/p>\n

The Big West announced the 2026 All-Big West Men\u2019s Volleyball Team and All-Freshman Team on Wednesday, recognizing the conference\u2019s top performers ahead of The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2026 Outrigger Big West Men\u2019s Volleyball Championship, as voted on by the league\u2019s six head coaches.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All six Big West squads are represented on the 14-player listings, reflecting the strength of the nation\u2019s best men\u2019s volleyball league top to bottom.\u00a0Regular-season champion and second-ranked\u00a0Hawai\u2018i\u00a0placed five student-athletes on the squad to lead the way.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spearheaded by junior setter Tread Rosenthal guiding\u00a0one of the country\u2019s most potent offenses, Rosenthal\u00a0earns a third-consecutive nod on the first team entering the postseason\u00a0averaging a league-best 10.66 assists per set, which rates second in the nation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rosenthal is setting up the trio of\u00a0Kristian\u00a0Titriyski\u00a0(3.98 k\/s),\u00a0Louis\u00a0Sakanoko\u00a0(.358%, 3.18 k\/s, 32 aces)\u00a0and\u00a0Adrien Roure\u00a0(2.91 k\/s, 34 aces)\u00a0as the Rainbow Warriors sit fourth nationally in hitting percentage (.377) and second in kills per set (13.57). Holding down the back line\u00a0is league digs leader\u00a0junior\u00a0Quintin Greenidge (2.11 d\/s).\u00a0Both Roure and\u00a0Titriyski\u00a0are making repeat appearances on the All-Big West team for the \u2019Bows.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Big West\u2019s No. 2 seed and the third-ranked team in the nation Long Beach State placed three players on the All-Big West Team\u00a0in\u00a0senior\u00a0Skyler Varga\u00a0and\u00a0underclassmen\u00a0Jackson\u00a0Cryst\u00a0and Kellen Larson. Varga leads the nation\u2019s most dynamic service and blocking units\u00a0with a team-best 45 aces to go along with 3.16 kills per set\u00a0on .322 hitting.\u00a0This marks Varga\u2019s second\u00a0selection\u00a0to\u00a0the All-Big West First Team.\u00a0With a first nod to the squad, is sophomore\u00a0libero\u00a0Larson (1.74 d\/s) after taking over the back line duties for the defending national champions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also big on the service line with 42 strikes on the season,\u00a0Cryst\u00a0is holding down the net with aplomb with 101 total blocks (1.09\/set), good for 11th\u00a0nationally.\u00a0Selected to the seven-member All-Freshman team as well,\u00a0Cryst\u00a0is joined on the listings by teammates\u00a0Wojciech Gajek\u00a0and setter Jake\u00a0Pazanti\u00a0for the youthful yet\u00a0seasoned team under the direction of first-year head coach and program\u00a0alumnus\u00a0Nick MacRay.\u00a0<\/p>\n

UC Irvine earned two first-team selections in\u00a0freshman\u00a0outside hitter\u00a0Andrej\u00a0Jokanovic\u00a0and\u00a0senior opposite hitter\u00a0William D\u2019Arcy, both of whom ranked among the conference\u2019s top point producers.\u00a0Jokanovic\u00a0finished among the Big West leaders in kills\u00a0(3.50)\u00a0and points (4.17) average, while D\u2019Arcy\u2019s 3.05 kills per set complement the offensive production for the third-seeded and fifth-ranked\u00a0Anteaters.\u00a0Jokanovic\u00a0and fellow\u00a0frosh\u00a0in setter\/opposite hitter Cameron Kosty\u00a0also\u00a0earned a place on the\u00a0All-Freshman Team.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With two first-teamers for the first time since 2022,\u00a0UC Santa Barbara\u2019s\u00a0George Bruening\u00a0and\u00a0Cole Schobel\u00a0got the nod,\u00a0while also\u00a0seeing Riggs Guy earn\u00a0honorable mention\u00a0distinction.\u00a0Bruening, a redshirt sophomore outside hitter,\u00a0ranks\u00a0third in\u00a0The Big West\u00a0in kills per set (3.70), while Schobel\u00a0stands\u00a0among the top three setters in the league at 9.12 assists per set.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

UC San Diego\u00a0and CSUN both see\u00a0one on the All-Big West Team to round out the honorees. For the Tritons, leading scorer Sebastiano Sani\u00a0made an immediate impact in a first season at UCSD after transferring from Long Beach State, averaging 3.55 kills and 4.20 points per set thus far on the season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

CSUN senior and repeat selection Jalen Phillips leads the league and ranks eighth in the country with 3.88 points per set to claim back-to-back All-Big West status\u00a0for the Matadors. CSUN also features a pair of All-Freshman selections in outside hitters\u00a0Grayson Albers and Noah\u00a0Douphner.\u00a0<\/p>\n
