Police are searching for a man wanted for a series of sexual assaults targeting women across Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The suspect, Damian Denzell Robinson, 29, has a prior conviction for indecent exposure and lewd conduct, which requires him to register as a sex offender, the Los Angeles Police Department said.<\/p>\n

At least six reported incidents allegedly involving Robinson occurred on April 19 at various locations. He fled on foot after each attack, police said.<\/p>\n

At 9:10 a.m., he approached an elderly woman at a business near Devonshire Street and Balboa Boulevard and pulled down her pants, grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.<\/p>\n

At 9:55 a.m., another elderly woman was near Forbes Avenue and Calahan Street when he attempted to pull her pants down. The woman held on to her waistband and confronted the man before he fled.<\/p>\n

At 10 a.m., a woman was walking near Lassen Street and Encino Avenue when he approached from behind. He grabbed and sexually assaulted her while recording the assault on his cell phone.<\/p>\n

At 11:15 a.m., a woman was inside a Vallarta Supermarket near Vanowen Street and Corbin Avenue when he approached from behind, grabbed her and sexually assaulted her. Bystanders captured the man fleeing the busy market.<\/a><\/p>\n

At 12:37 p.m., a woman was at a market near Mason Avenue and Sherman Way\u00a0when he approached her and pulled down her pants and underwear. He\u00a0recorded the woman on his cell phone before fleeing.<\/p>\n

At 3:20 p.m., a woman using the restroom at a store near Corbin Avenue and\u00a0Nordhoff Street when the suspect used his cellphone to record her from underneath the stall.<\/p>\n

Several of these incidents were captured by surveillance cameras which investigators used to identify the Robinson as the suspect.<\/p>\n

He is described as a Black man who stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a white shirt, tan pants, blue\/white Nike shoes and eyeglasses.<\/p>\n

Detectives believe Robinson may be responsible for additional, unreported sexual assaults. He is wanted for felony sexual battery, along with multiple sexual offenses.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are actively investigating this matter and encourage any additional victims to come forward\u00a0and complete a police report,\u201d LAPD said in a statement.<\/p>\n
