Anger Management Productions released another mock draft on Tuesday, focusing on how the 49ers can fill key roster gaps and remain competitive amid the shifting balance of power in the division.

Co-host Aaron Donnell didn’t hold back when discussing the pressure on 49ers General Manager John Lynch.

“The 49ers need offensive line and secondary help,” Donnell said. “This is John Lynch on the hot seat because he needs to have a productive draft. The 49ers need a young, tall receiver, but not until later in the draft.”

Technical difficulties have delayed the video upload, but it will be available on YouTube soon.

Here is our Mock Draft:

Round 1, Pick 27: Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah

I prefer the 49ers to target Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, but if he’s off the board, they should look to the next dominant option. Left tackle Trent Williams re-signed for two more years, but he is nearing the end of his career, so the offensive tackle position must be addressed for the present and the future.

San Francisco needs another physical “mauler” in the mold of Williams, and Caleb Lomu out of Utah fits that profile. Lomu brings the kind of physical presence the 49ers value up front. As an added connection, he shares the same hometown as quarterback Brock Purdy, adding a bit of familiarity to the fit.

Round 2, Pick 58: Derrick Moore, DE, Michigan

If Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez is available at this pick, the 49ers should strongly consider taking him. If he’s off the board, then Michigan defensive end Derrick Moore becomes the next best option. San Francisco’s defense, once anchored by a dominant front, has shown vulnerability when Nick Bosa is off the field. Adding speed and pass-rush presence is a priority, and Moore brings exactly that from his time with the Wolverines.

Moore is raw and has tremendous upside, which makes him an intriguing prospect, and his presence would help restore some of the fear factor to San Francisco’s defensive line.

Round 4, Pick 127: Jack Kelly, LB, BYU

If the 49ers are looking to add depth and versatility to their defense, BYU linebacker Jack Kelly is a name worth keeping an eye on. With the need to bolster production, Kelly will bring a high-motor, flexible defender who could help out wherever defensive coordinator Raheem Morris lines him up.

The BYU alum could end up being a rotational defender and has the potential to develop into a valuable hybrid linebacker/edge piece in the right system.

Round 4, Pick 133: Trade

The 49ers trade this pick to acquire the last two selections in this mock draft.

Round 4, Pick 138: Pat Coogan, C, Indiana

It’s time for the 49ers to start planning for the future at center because Jake Brendel will turn 34 in September. Indiana’s Pat Coogan would fit in perfectly on a San Francisco offensive line that relies heavily on establishing the ground attack. His football IQ and work ethic stand out, giving him the tools to develop into a reliable starter at the next level and making him a potential replacement for Brendel while providing immediate depth on the interior offensive line.

Round 4, Pick 139: Robert Henry Jr., RB, UTSA

The 49ers need to find a complementary back to spell Christian McCaffrey, as he’s entering the later stages of a running back’s shelf life, and the team will want to preserve his effectiveness rather than overuse him. Adding another dependable option in the backfield will be key moving forward.

Robert Henry proved he can handle that role after a strong season with the UTSA Roadrunners, recording over 100 carries in each of his three seasons. He’s an elusive runner with big-play ability, though scouting reports note patience as an area for improvement.

With running backs coach Bobby Turner’s track record of developing talent, including turning undrafted players into All-Pros, Henry has the potential to grow into a valuable contributor in the 49ers’ system.

Round 5, Pick 153: Nate Boerkircher, TE, Texas A&M

With George Kittle coming off an ACL injury, it may be time for the 49ers to start planning for the future at tight end and look for “The People’s TE 2.0.” While Texas A&M’s Nate Boerkircher only recorded 199 receiving yards during the 2025 season, production at the college level doesn’t always tell the full story, much like Kittle himself, who didn’t put up eye-popping numbers at Iowa but developed into one of the league’s elite tight ends.

Boerkircher is a developmental player with strong blocking ability and long-term upside, with the potential to evolve into a complete tight end in the 49ers’ system, which values physicality and versatility.

Round 7, Pick 249: Lorenzo Styles Jr., CB, Ohio State

Ohio State cornerback Lorenzo Styles is an intriguing option who can bring speed, versatility, playmaking ability, and flexibility to multiple positions. His biggest strengths will be his athleticism and his development as a playmaker.

With the NFL’s annual player selection meeting—or the NFL Draft—approaching, the San Francisco 49ers need to keep pace…

[30
1818,879,878,8757,93344,1736,93298,752,17640,11453,101,296,103,102,104,106,105,25053
0":"post-282213","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-san-francisco","8":"tag-49ers","9":"tag-brock-purdy","10":"tag-christian-mccaffrey","11":"tag-george-kittle","12":"tag-jake-brendel","13":"tag-john-lynch","14":"tag-mock-draft","15":"tag-nfl","16":"tag-nfl-draft","17":"tag-nick-bosa","18":"tag-san-francisco","19":"tag-san-francisco-49ers","20":"tag-san-francisco-headlines","21":"tag-san-francisco-news","22":"tag-sf","23":"tag-sf-headlines","24":"tag-sf-news","25":"tag-trent-williams
["GET
