Move over, Real Housewives<\/a>, the Mormon Wives are headed to Orange County.<\/p>\n

Hulu, which created the reality TV series \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,<\/a>\u201d announced Wednesday that it will launch a spinoff series titled, \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.\u201d<\/p>\n

And why wouldn\u2019t the Mormon Wives want to spill their secrets in the OC? \u201cThe Real Housewives of Orange County,\u201d<\/a> which debuted on Bravo in 2006, is ground zero for all the Housewives shows that followed.<\/p>\n

Is Orange County big enough for this new gang in town? Pfft, of course it is!<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got housewives spilling out of Range Rovers and Escalades from Newport Beach to Coto de Caza, San Juan Capistrano and Ladera Ranch. You want a dirty martini or a dirty soda, we\u2019ve got you covered: Yoga studios, bikini shops, personal trainers, anything a TV wife might need.<\/p>\n

The announcement of the new series came at Hulu\u2019s second-annual \u201cGet Real House\u201d in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, April 22. The event gathers\u2019 the streamer\u2019s reality TV stars for announcements about new shows, spinoffs, and other related promotions. It is expected to premiere later this year, though no date has been announced.<\/p>\n

The cast of \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County\u201d includes Ashleigh Pease, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Bobbi Althoff, Chandler Higginson, Madison Bontempo, McCall DaPron, and Madison Bontempo.<\/p>\n

DaPron is the sister of Mayci Neeley, one of the stars of the original \u201cMormon Wives\u201d show. Several of the other women in the show are YouTubers, podcasters and influencers.<\/p>\n

\u201cA new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity,\u201d reads the Hulu logline for the new show. \u201cWhile some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo.<\/p>\n

\u201cScandals and secrets will be revealed, facades will crumble, and families and friendships will change forever on both sides of the battlefield as this group of strong, game-changing influencers comes together to build their answer to #MomTok. This is \u2018The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The original series paused production earlier this year after allegations of domestic violence against cast member Taylor Frankie Paul emerged, prompting a Utah police investigation as well as an internal investigation by the show. Last week, the Salt Lake City district attorney\u2019s office declined to file any charges against Paul.<\/p>\n

Paul was also set to star on \u201cThe Bachelorette,\u201d which was pulled from the schedule by ABC after the allegations surfaced.
