SAN DIEGO \u2013 San Diego State lacrosse is set to wrap up its 2026 campaign with back-to-back road games this weekend, heading to Ohio to take on Cincinnati at 1 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 9 a.m. non-conference contest at Xavier on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Game Info At Xavier The Aztecs enter the final weekend of the season with a 2-12 overall record and 0-4 in the Big 12. Last time out, they came up short 15-8 against Arizona State at home.<\/p>\n The Bearcats bring an 8-8 overall record to Friday\u2019s game and 0-4 in conference play, most recently falling 10-5 at Colorado. This will be the fourth meeting between the two programs. Cincinnati currently leads the all-time series 2-1, taking last year\u2019s matchup 19-15. The Aztecs earned a 14-9 win over the Bearcats in 2012.<\/p>\n The Musketeers are 3-13 on the year and 1-5 in the Big East, having lost 19-1 in their last game against Denver. The two teams have played each other just once before in 2024, when San Diego State captured a 16-6 victory.<\/p>\n Sophomores Keira Doyle-Odenbach<\/a> and Mia Maechtel<\/a> continue to be the team\u2019s leading scorers with 29 and 26 goals on the season, respectively. Maechtel also has the second-most assists of any Aztec this season, dishing out 13 to total 39 points this year. Doyle-Odenbach has been a force in the draw circle, picking up 50 draw controls for an average of 3.43 per game, which is the fifth most in the Big 12. Earlier this season, she broke the school record for most draw controls in a single game, recording 13 against Columbia.<\/p>\n On the defensive end, sophomore Maya Tillman<\/a> leads San Diego State in caused turnovers with 18 total, helping the team become second in the conference in caused turnovers per game (8.14).<\/p>\n
