Sean Timberlake<\/a> has a self-described \u201cmental database<\/a>\u201d of Sacramento\u2019s food scene.<\/p>\n

As The Bee\u2019s new(ish) food and drink reporter, he\u2019s covered everything from openings and closings, to building a comprehensive local pizza style guide<\/a>, to allegations against Michelin-starred chef Chris Barnum-Dann<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Timberlake has also revamped The Bee\u2019s Food & Drink newsletter<\/a>, which now hits your inboxes every Wednesday and Friday afternoon. Friday\u2019s version lets you join him as he samples Sacramento\u2019s food scene with its Bee Appetit feature<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What has it been like covering Sacramento\u2019s vibrant food scene so far? Are there exclusive stories he is looking forward to covering? And what makes Sacramento\u2019s food scene so unique?<\/p>\n

Tune in to a virtual live Zoom webinar on Thursday, April 30 at 6 p.m. to hear Timberlake talk about all things food and more. You can ask him questions or submit some in advance to The Bee\u2019s Lauren Chapman at lchapman@sacbee.com, who will moderate the event.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll aim to keep the free event to around 30 minutes. The event will be recorded and the video will be posted to the website afterwards.<\/p>\n
