Moonshine Beach \u2013 the bar and <a href=\"https:\/\/theresandiego.com\/best-live-music-venues-san-diego\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">live music venue<\/a> built around line dancing, great drinks, and non-stop energy \u2013 is celebrating 10 years this spring with a three-night anniversary series.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve never been, now\u2019s the time. If you\u2019re a regular, you already know why this one\u2019s worth clearing your schedule for.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday: Customer Appreciation Night<\/p>\n<p>Thursday kicks off with a nod to the community that\u2019s kept Moonshine Beach going for a decade. There\u2019s an RSVP-only hosted bar from 6 to 8 PM capped at 500, so reserve your spot now. Doors open to everyone at 8 PM, with a Build-Your-Own Glizzy Bar, giveaways, and a set from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/realhypha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">DJ Real Hypha<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Friday: Live Music + Line Dancing<\/p>\n<p>Friday brings a live headlining performance from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lucasandsteve\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Lucas &amp; Steve<\/a>, with line dancing and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/niceonekiki\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">DJ Kiki<\/a> also on the bill. Doors open at 7 PM \u2013 a solid night out whether you\u2019re there for the dancing or the live show.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday: The Anniversary Party<\/p>\n<p>Saturday is the big one. The anniversary party runs from 7 PM to close, with line dancing from 7 to 10 PM, DJ Hypha from 10 to 11:30 PM, and DJ Kiki closing out the night. Moonshine Beach has spent that time welcoming everyone from first-timers learning the two-step to regulars who could probably do the Cotton-Eyed Joe in their sleep.<\/p>\n<p>The venue has hosted major country acts over the years, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/morganwallen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Morgan Wallen<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lukecombs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Luke Combs<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/megmoroney\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Megan Moroney<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/olddominionmusic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Old Dominion<\/a>. It was also named Best Nightclub in San Diego by readers of San Diego Magazine in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Behind the venue is Good Time Design, the hospitality group founded by Ty Hauter that also runs Moonshine Flats, The Deck, Happy Does, and The Blind Burro.
