FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 Longtime leader in Central Valley agriculture and public service Phil Larson has died at 92. <\/p>\n
The death of the former Fresno County Farm Bureau president and Fresno County Supervisor was announced in a statement from the Fresno County Farm Bureau.<\/p>\n
In a message shared with the community, the organization said it is \u201cdeeply saddened\u201d by Larson\u2019s death, remembering him as a dedicated advocate for California agriculture and the people of the region.<\/p>\n
Larson spent years working on behalf of farmers, ranchers and rural communities, both through his leadership with the Farm Bureau and during his time as a county supervisor. <\/p>\n
Those who worked with him say his influence extended far beyond policy, shaping the livelihoods of families across the Central Valley.<\/p>\n
\u201cPhil dedicated his life to serving California agriculture and our region,\u201d the statement read. <\/p>\n
His impact will be felt for generations through the farmers, families, and communities he championed.<\/p>\n
