Lincoln Heights\u2014At least 10 gallons of diesel spilled from an overturned semi-truck on the Golden State (5) Freeway on-ramp in Lincoln Heights Thursday.<\/p>\n

California Highway Patrol officers requested fire crews to the 2100 block of North Pasadena Avenue around 3:15 p.m. Thursday after reports of an overturned semi on the freeway’s on-ramp, which caused a small diesel spill, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.<\/p>\n

Fire crews were working to prevent further runoff by diking the flow, LAFD spokeswoman Lindsey Lantz said.<\/p>\n

There were no immediate reports of injuries.<\/p>\n

It was unclear why the vehicle overturned.<\/p>\n
