PASADENA, Calif. (WCIV) \u2014 Two bear cubs in California may be technically classified as brown bears, however they are giving their mother bear some gray hairs this week. <\/p>\n
According to reports coming out of Pasadena Humane and Fish and Wildlife, one of the bear siblings got stuck in a neighborhood storm drain while the other went up a nearby tree on Monday and has yet to come down. <\/p>\n
Wildlife crews state that they opened up the drain cover, allowing the baby bear access to escape safely, even placing grapes around the exit to try and entice the cub out. The bear must not have been a fan of the grapes though, because he ended up escaping the same way he got in. <\/p>\n
Just when crews thought the adventure was over, the cub proceeded to climb the tree where it sibling has remained for days. Mama bear was spotted walking around the area and resting in shady spots before finally sitting down under the tree where her two cubs are. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PASADENA, Calif.
