The San Francisco 49ers<\/a> aren’t done adding first-year players just yet. The club officially announced eight undrafted free agent signings Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Their initial eight-player UDFA class includes one tight end, two wide receivers, three defensive linemen, one safety and a punter. Here’s the full list of names, which does not include players who were reported as rookie minicamp invites:<\/p>\n

P Jack Boumeester, TexasTE Khalil Dinkins, Penn StateDL Bryson Eason, TennesseeWR Wesley Grimes, NC StateDL Mikail Kamara, IndianaWR Will Pauling, Notre DameS Jalen Stroman, Notre DameDL James Thompson, Illinois<\/p>\n

This group of UDFAs will have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot this offseason, and some could have a real chance to make the team. Dinkins should be in the mix to make it as a back-of-the-roster TE, while Stroman is the only safety the team added in the offseason.<\/p>\n
