The Anaheim Ducks<\/a> took a 3-1 series lead over the Edmonton Oilers<\/a> after Ryan Poehling<\/a> got the puck to sneak under Tristan Jarry<\/a>‘s skate. The Ducks won 4-3.<\/p>\n

It’s Poehling’s first career overtime goal, which came 2:29 into the period. The Ducks and their home fans celebrated three times. Once after it went in, another after it was called a goal on the ice and the loudest came after the review.<\/p>\n

The puck barely crossed over the red line, but the view was just clear enough to confirm the call on the ice. The Ducks now take the lead to Edmonton where they can clinch on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Edmonton started up 2-0 after Kasperi Kapanen<\/a> and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins<\/a> netted goals in the first period. Anaheim tied it in the second period with goals from Cutter Gauthier<\/a> and Mikael Granlund<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Oilers took the lead again a few minutes into the third period, which the Ducks<\/a> responded to with six and a half minutes left.<\/p>\n

The Honda Center was intense all throughout the night, with Ducks fans trying to see their team advance past the first round for the first time since the 2017 playoffs.<\/p>\n

The Ducks have now won three straight games and show no sign of slowing down. The offense is the star of the show, as they have scored at least three goals in every game.<\/p>\n
