AND UNFORTUNATELY, THIS IS A TRAIN VERSUS PEDESTRIAN COLLISION. WE DON\u2019T HAVE AN UPDATE ON THE PERSON, BUT YOU CAN SEE THE PARAMEDICS AND FOLKS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THERE. AND ALSO ALONG THE TRACKS, YOU CAN SEE A PERSON IN A GREEN VEST THERE. AND SO TRAIN TRAFFIC IS STOPPED THERE, BUT IT DOES LOOK LIKE ROSEVILLE ROAD IS GETTING THROUGH. I KNOW THIS IS A POPULAR ROUTE FOR A LOT OF FOLKS. JUST WANT TO WATCH OUT. WE\u2019LL KEEP AN EYE ON THIS ONGOING INVESTIGATION, BUT IT DOESN\u2019T APPEAR TO BE A DELAY AT THIS POINT ON ROSEVILLE ROAD. AND FROM HERE I CAN SEE INTERSTATE 80, AND IT\u2019S FLOWING ALONG SMOOTHLY AS YOU MAKE YOUR WA\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

LiveCopter 3 was over the scene near Roseville and Walerga roads, where first responders could be seen by a freight train that was stopped. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District confirmed a pedestrian died.<\/p>\n

Details were not released on the identity of the person. It is also not known what led to the crash.<\/p>\n
