{"id":29114,"date":"2025-10-29T20:37:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T20:37:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/29114\/"},"modified":"2025-10-29T20:37:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T20:37:14","slug":"massive-manhunt-underway-for-murder-suspect-accidentally-released-from-california-jail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/29114\/","title":{"rendered":"Massive manhunt underway for murder suspect &#8216;accidentally&#8217; released from California jail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 20-year-old Washington State man wanted for murder was mistakenly released from a California jail while awaiting extradition proceedings, authorities said this week. <\/p>\n<p>Isaiah Jamon Andrews was busted on \u201clocal charges\u201d in the Golden State last week but was \u201caccidentally\u201d released on Oct. 22 \u2014 despite an active warrant for a Seattle murder just one week earlier, officials said. <\/p>\n<p>In fact, Seattle cops were already on their way to pick up Andrews at the lockup in Martinez, California, when they were told that the fugitive was now in the wind, the <a href=\"https:\/\/antiochherald.com\/2025\/10\/sheriffs-office-seeks-seattle-murder-suspect-from-antioch-mistakenly-released-from-contra-costa-jail\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Antioch Herald reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50146628;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"37522157\" width=\"886\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/2025-time-andrews-held-local-114430318.jpg\" alt=\"Mugshot of Isaiah Jamon Andrews.\" class=\"wp-image-37522157\"  \/>Isaiah Jamon Andrews, 20, was wanted for murder when he was busted in California \u2014 and released by mistake.
