{"id":2948,"date":"2025-10-14T03:11:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T03:11:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/2948\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T03:11:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T03:11:14","slug":"for-one-night-chef-from-draymond-greens-restaurant-joins-eos-nyx","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/2948\/","title":{"rendered":"For one night, chef from Draymond Green&#8217;s restaurant joins Eos &#038; Nyx"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of a chef\u2019s collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2024\/11\/13\/san-joses-highly-anticipated-eos-nyx-restaurant-will-make-its-downtown-debut-nov-20\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">San Jose\u2019s Eos &amp; Nyx<\/a> and San Francisco\u2019s Meski restaurants, noted Dominican\/Ethiopian cuisine specialist Nelson German will join the South Bay restaurant for a special dinner tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 7.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>German will head to chef Nicko Moulinos\u2019 Eos &amp; Nyx kitchen to prepare a menu that features Coffee Berbere Beef Carpaccio ($21), Grilled Branzino Escabeche with sides ($38) and Cream Co. Bone Marrow ($26) with lamb tartare, collard green chimichurri and tzatziki. The signature cocktails are a nod to Nelson\u2019s Caribbean roots and Moulinos\u2019 Greek heritage.<\/p>\n<p>All dishes are available a la carte.<\/p>\n<p>At Meski, German has teamed up with owner and NBA star Draymond Green. He is also the chef-owner of Oakland\u2019s alaMar Kitchen &amp; Bar and the Afro-Latin cocktail lounge Sobre Mesa,<\/p>\n<p>On Oct. 23, Moulinos will head to San Francisco to cook with German at Meski. Stay tuned for an update on that menu.<\/p>\n<p>DETAILS: The Nelson German menu will be offered from 5 to 10 p.m. at 201 S. Second St., San Jose.
