{"id":29559,"date":"2025-10-30T02:10:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T02:10:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/29559\/"},"modified":"2025-10-30T02:10:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T02:10:10","slug":"harbor-city-man-charged-in-fatal-shooting-in-belmont-shore-press-telegram","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/29559\/","title":{"rendered":"Harbor City man charged in fatal shooting in Belmont Shore \u2013 Press Telegram"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 41-year-old Harbor City man was charged this week with murder for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.presstelegram.com\/2025\/10\/26\/man-and-woman-arrested-in-belmont-shore-shooting\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fatal shooting of a man in Belmont Shore<\/a> following a dispute in a bar over the weekend, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Lamar Loving was charged Tuesday, Oct. 28, of murder, felon in possession of a firearm, and violating a criminal protective or restraining order, court records show.<\/p>\n<p>Loving was arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting 32-year-old Jeremy Anthony Spears, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, an altercation erupted at a local bar and continued outside in the 100 block of La Verne Avenue.
