Officers responded around 10:11 p.m. and located the victims on the ground suffering from at least one gunshot wound each.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/b23fa7c2bd467123beed90dcd247da72.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. Rodriguez, police said, fled the area before officers arrived.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Homicide detectives investigating the double fatal shooting discovered that the building was operating as an illicit gambling establishment, according to SJPD. Circumstances surrounding the homicides were not released by authorities.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/44b0ae2e725afcd99d92aeea1ebf0035.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Rodriguez was located in San Jose on Monday and arrested.
