(KATU\/CNN Newsource\/WKRC) &#8211; A driver allegedly drove into the side of an athletic club with an explosive device in their vehicle, sparking a fire that only killed the driver.<\/p>\n<p>The crash occurred on Saturday morning at the Multnomah Athletic Club, local outlet KATU reported.<\/p>\n<p>The explosive device did not ignite, however the crash started a fire in the building. First responders searched the vehicle and found the driver, who was deceased, and the explosive device.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities did not specify what the device was or how explosive it was.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the athletic club told authorities that the building was closed at the time of the crash.
