GARDEN GROVE, CA \u2014 A 56-year-old man was charged Wednesday with shooting another 56-year-old man in a domestic dispute in a Garden Grove neighborhood, police said. <\/p>\n
The shooting happened just before 4 p.m. Monday in the 12100 block of Flagstone Avenue, police said. <\/p>\n
The victim \u2014 56-year-old Jeff Fulgham of Garden Grove \u2014 sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body and was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. <\/p>\n
Police have not reported what motivated the shooting, but characterized it as a domestic dispute and the two are relatives.<\/p>\n
Dale Shelby Shroyer of Garden Grove was charged with attempted murder with sentencing enhancements for discharge of a gun causing great bodily injury and attempted premeditated murder.<\/p>\n
Fulgham remained in critical condition, but was expected to survive, according to Garden Grove Police Department Sgt. Nick Jensen.<\/p>\n
Shroyer did not enter a plea at his arraignment in the Central Justice Center on Wednesday.
